After researching and shopping for nearly a full year, we have purchased our own little slice of heaven in Northeast Washington State. Now the work begins…
There is a driveway to be excavated and graveled. Tree branches need to be trimmed for fire control and decisions must be made about where to build a corral for the mule and the horse. And should we plant a food plot for deer and elk? Fences need repairing and some new fencing (what kind?) is required as well.
Sleeping arrangements may come in the form of a camping trailer. We’re not certain about that. In the mean time there is a tiny bunkhouse set up for sleeping a couple of people. Might be nice to have a medium size wall tent while we decide on a camp trailer. (So many decisions to make.)
Thank goodness the acreage already has power and a well!
